Eosinophilic Esophagitis

We can treat your symptoms

Eosinophilic Esophagitis

Many patients experience difficulty swallowing, food getting stuck in their esophagus and have required multiple esophageal dilations. If you have experienced such symptoms, you should discuss with your gastroenterologist about getting an upper endoscopy with multiple esophageal biopsies to look for Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), an allergic disease of the esophagus.

For those patients diagnosed with EoE, we help sort through the confusion regarding allergy testing, elimination diets and medical therapies. Dr. Dave Gupta has a special interest in EoE.
